Companies House has announced that obtaining a Companies House Personal Code through an identity verification process will soon become a legal requirement for all company directors and persons with significant control (PSCs). This applies to both UK residents and non-UK residents, who will need to verify their identity to confirm who they are.

As a registered Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) with Companies House, Britannia Accounting is officially authorised to request Companies House Personal Codes by conducting identity verification checks on company directors and persons of significant control — even if they are not our existing clients.

These new Companies House Personal Codes will be essential for directors and PSCs to update their details or file statutory documents in the future. Please note that these Personal Codes are different from the Companies House web filing codes currently in circulation.
